Oozing country charm, the cottage boasts exposed oak beams and trusses, a farmhouse kitchen, an open fire and a Victorian brass bed. There are four comfy bedrooms, and outside there is a large garden with lawn, patio and decked areas, with furniture, BBQ, climbing frame, swings, slide and paddock with goal posts; an ideal family retreat.

Full oil central heating, ground floor underfloor heating, open fire in sitting room. Range cooker with double electric oven & 5 ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, 5 x colour TVs, DVD, WiFi broadband. Fuel, power & starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent (bring own pool towels). Indoor heated swimming pool. Cot, highchair & stairgate available. Off road parking for 4 cars. Large garden with lawn, patio & decked areas, with furniture, BBQ, climbing frame, swings, slide & 0.75 acre paddock with goal posts. One well-behaved dog welcome at charge of £20 per week. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 1.5 miles. Note: Children aged 16 or under must be supervised when in the pool. |

Close proximity to lots of attractions made this an ideal holiday base. The pool was so much fun for kids and adults alike. The garden was a safe environment for the children to run around in and there was so much for them to do in the garden with the swings, slide, goalposts, tractor, skateboards. Owner very helpful. Top class property. First time we have used Sykes and wont be the last.
